Today I bought the motors for MiniMendel.
Lets see, if they work as hoped 😀
Today I bought the motors for MiniMendel.
Lets see, if they work as hoped 😀
Today I found the following circuit under http://www.recursion.jp/avrcdc/cdc-232.html#schematic
It might replace the FTDI-breakout cable for future versions and make the whole electronics stuff again much cheaper!
Sadly today the acid was too weak, because it was already used a lot, before I came to make my PCB.
So I’ve got only one board (All-In-One-board).
Additionally they did not have the Atmega-644p in DIP shell, so I’ve sent a comrade to buy it tomorrow…
Hopefully I can finish the controller board until this weekend, so that we can at least make test with the software.
Perhaps we get finally everything together for the big assembly session this Saturday.
We got the parts for this Extruder already with the MiniMendel parts.
http://reprap.org/wiki/Mendel_extruder
So we will use this one.
I got a Ø0.6mm nozzle.
The heat barrier will be made of epoxy.
I decided to use

and
http://reprap.org/wiki/All_In_One_Electronics
which will reduce the costs enormous.

Well I found the right metal today. And even a nozzle…
Well AND I found this page…
http://www.raplab.arch.ethz.ch/Infrastruktur/Werkstatt,Digitalwerkstatt
Seems my university already has a makerbot…
I just was too stupid to find the page >_>
Well… Ours will soon be functional too, I hope…
Anyway… Ours well be bigger, I think. And more precise… Dunno… Lets see ^^
Today I’ve bought parts for MiniMendel, at least I thought I’d have done that.
But… Seems I can’t even read correctly.
I mixed it up with parts for the full sized Mendel and got M8 and not M6 bars.
Of course they do not fit into the Huxley parts.
Well it’s not for nothing.
Perhaps I will build a Mendel Apollo, as soon as the MiniMendel aka. Huxley is done.
Ahh. Another shit. I can’t use PET granule, because they don’t sell stuff usable for 3D-Printing (Got an email back today).
So now I’ll have to check for another source…
Good thing. The teeth doctor was able to do the treatment today without injection.
Great, because I hate needles. >_<
I hate low temperatures…
I just don’t fit into this society in ANY aspect…
When I consider it cold, they still consider it warm.
When I consider it comfortable warm, some of them are already dying by heat beat…
Well, ATM I wish going to a place like this one…
The parts arrived now
But I will need to first cure my cold, before I can get onto the assembly…
Additionally I’ll also need to get stuff for building a granule extruder.
Hope its not THAT hard, as it seems, I’ve also to learn for examina… -.-
Ich weiss nicht wen ich cooler finde in den SciFi-Serien, die ich momentan verfolge…
Dr.Rush aus Stargate Universe, oder Walter aus Fringe…
