{"id":564,"date":"2013-02-09T23:53:17","date_gmt":"2013-02-09T21:53:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.the-leviathan.ch\/?p=564"},"modified":"2013-02-12T02:46:04","modified_gmt":"2013-02-12T00:46:04","slug":"reprap-precision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.the-leviathan.ch\/?p=564","title":{"rendered":"RepRap: Precision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I tried to print thing 27405 from thingiverse (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/thing:27405\">http:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/thing:27405<\/a>) on the PrusaMendel in the CCCZH lab.<br \/>\nThe result is shown in the provided image.<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.the-leviathan.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/wpid-20130209_224842.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.the-leviathan.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/wpid-20130209_224842.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAfter some tweaking of temperatures and speed I finally managed to make it print perfectly!<br \/>\nWhile bigger objects\u00a0still are producing some strings when it&#8217;s going to the end, smaller objects are printing fine now.<br \/>\nTurning the temperature to 190\u00b0C for the first layer and 185\u00b0C for all the other layers, and also reducing the extruder multiplier down to 1.0 made all problems go away.
